THE BLUE DAWN IS FITTED WITH ALL EQUIPMENT AS REQUIRED BY SOLAS AS AMENDED AND FLAG STATE REQUIREMENTS. SHE IS MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD
The yacht recently carried out full Class docking and Intermediate surveys in June 2007, in Toulon, France, where the boat was lifted out of the water, the underwater sections where fouling was found were completed scraped, high pressure washed and cleaned, followed by coating with Sigma Anti fouling TBT paints.
The vessel was subjected to full hull and machinery survey to establish that the structure was in good condition, which was confirmed by recording thickness measurements of the bottom plating. Steel was found to be in a very good condition.
Machinery has been overhauled in association with planned maintenance schedules as laid out by manufacturers and machinery was tested and found in order.
The rudder was dismantled completely and new bearing fitted. The propellers were polished, and new zinc anodes fitted through out the hull.
The Class of the vessel is INSB, from Greece, who are also responsible for the flag certification of the vessel, which is certified as a Commercial Yacht. All class certificates are in order and up to date as required by all International Conventions and local regulations.
All navigation equipment was found to be in good working order, with new systems recently fitted additionally to improve the requirements of the bridge, which includes full engine control.
The accommodation both private and crews were seen to be in a very good condition, well looked after and furnished, to include required safety equipment in case of an emergency.
