Built in Mali Lošinj by Mario and Pietro Tarabocchia. Fully refitted, ready for any visit. Permanent captain on board.

Manta is a Marconi/Bermudan Cutter
Ex Toosa, was built for Milanese industrialist Dante Ceschina and was one of Tarabocchia’s first forays into naval architecture.

In 1950s, she was known as Paitan and Odilia. In the early 1980s, Manta was purchased by Ernesto Irace, a lawyer, and began attending the classic rallies in 1985, including Porto Cervo (third in her class, 1985), Palma de Majorca (fifth overall, 1986) and Imperia (first in class in real time). Her logo is a bear which is said to reflect her owner’s personality. In 2004, Manta was given a full restoration  in La Spezia under the supervision of Franco Giorgetti and Luigi Lang.
