This Bill Dixon designed  Moody 425 is one of Moody’s most popular cruising yachts, she can accommodate 8 in comfort in 3 cabins and the saloon and benefits from soft furnishings reupholstered throughout and renewed saloon headlining. A new engine, gearbox, 120Ah alternator, cockpit control panel and propeller (first used 2015).

The saloon in this Moody 425 has seating for 8, a full sized navigation table, a full galley and gives access to the forepeak and forward heads. These are very comfortable boats with space for long distance cruising and many are used as live aboards.

Her extensive inventory includes Inverter, Kawasaki portable generator, Raymarine C Series GPS/plotter, Autopilot, Radar, Weather Brass clock and barometer, An extensive sail wardrobe in good condition All sails in good condition, new Sony Radio / CD and speakers in Saloon, new Bosch combination Oven/Microwave,Holding tank, electric anchor windlass, 3 anchors, chain, mooring tape and rope on drum for stern anchoring.

This Moody 425 was built in 1989 and purchased by her first owner in 1990. She has been used for two or three month each year since and is always wintered ashore. Her second owner, having purchased and cruised her in 2017 is selling her due to family commitments.
